Community Update – Enhanced Neighborhood Security
The Board of Directors would like to share an important update regarding community safety. As part of our ongoing commitment to making Summer Hills a safe and secure place to live, we have recently implemented an enhancement to the neighborhood security program.
Beginning early this week, Summer Hills will have deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office conducting patrols throughout the community in clearly marked patrol vehicles. These deputies will serve as a dedicated security presence, helping to deter criminal activity and provide an added layer of protection for the residents.
This change reflects the Board’s continued focus on prioritizing the safety and well-being of the community. The presence of uniformed deputies in marked vehicles not only strengthens surveillance but also reassures residents that proactive measures are in place.
We encourage all homeowners to continue staying vigilant, reporting any suspicious activity, and working together to maintain the high standards of the neighborhood.
Thank you for your ongoing support in keeping Summer Hills a safe and welcoming community.
We would like to provide you with an important update regarding the condition of the community entrance located at Sorters Road and Summer Hills Boulevard.
The County has informed us that their contractor is scheduled to complete paving repairs to the entrance next week. The current target date for this work is Tuesday; however, please note that this schedule may be adjusted to later in the week if there is inclement weather.
The County has assured us that the repairs will be completed during the upcoming week.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as this matter is addressed and look forward to improved conditions at the community entrance.
To better serve the Summer Hills community, the HOA has installed three additional cluster mailbox units, adding new mailboxes for residents. This enhancement improves accessibility, reduces mail congestion, and helps ensure all homeowners have reliable and convenient mail service.
Please contact HOA Management for any questions or concerns regarding community mailboxes.
We appreciate your continued cooperation and support as we enhance the community’s amenities.
The HOA is pleased to inform residents that the improvement project at the community entrance has been successfully completed.
As previously communicated, the tree and shrub near the entryway sign were removed in response to homeowner feedback regarding limited visibility. This enhancement has improved sightlines from the street, increased safety for drivers and pedestrians, and enhanced the overall appearance of the entrance.
Thank you to all residents who shared their input and supported this project. The Board appreciates your continued involvement and commitment to maintaining and improving our community. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact HOA Management.
